Hey Guys,

I just purchased a Subsonic Pulse 40 V2. I got a 5.0 bennett truck for the front and a 130mm Seismic for the back. Now how should I mount the trucks? I have 1/2 hard risers and 1/8 hard risers. I also purchased a khiro wedge kit. Now which wedges and risers should I use for this particular board? I'm not really sure what to do from here.

I tend to use 1/2" hard risers on this setup, because I run 75-77mm wheels. Wedging in front is a personal preference--anywhere from 7-22 degrees (maybe start with 15 degrees). In back, go with 4-10 degrees of dewedging (closer to 4* if you want it more carvy). You don't need any riser in back to prevent wheelbite, only to keep the deck level.

You might get by with 2x1/8-inch risers in front. I don't think the wheelwells are particularly deep, but if you want to start low, instead of high, you can go this route. You don't want any unneeded height, but you don't want any bite either.

Ok, so I have it wedged 15 degrees (with 1/8th riser) in the front, and dewedged 7 degrees (with 1/8th riser) in the back. I really like the power I can get out of my pumps. Sometimes the back trucks tips up though, do I have the springs of my seismic too tight? Would lowering the wedge to 4 degrees help?

I've also been playing around with bushings and have had great success with the orange and white khiros. Currently I have the coned part of the orange barrel bushing on the bottom (very thin cone) and the smaller cone of the tall cone bushings in the middle (medium sized cone) and finally a white barrel on top. I can get quite a bit of speed with this setup. Here is a pic:

This actually works better:

Smaller cone from the Orange Tall Cone Khiro Bushing set, Thin cone from the White Khiro Barrel Bushing set, and finally a Barrel from the Orange Khiro Barrel Bushing set.
