Anybody try out the new Big 80 wheels?
I wanted to move up to some 75mm wheels and though about giving these a try.

Here's the 83a version:
I've read some good things about them on the 'fish: one of the grippiest wheels ever and surprisingly fast.
I wouldn't mind picking up a pair, but I think I'll wait for the Centrax. |

I have a friend who rides them and says they are great great wheels and the grippeist thing that he has ever ridden. i bet they would be good LDP wheels he did say the are just a little bit slow. _________________ The concrete is our canvas, our wave, our playgound, our catalyst for growth. Seems to me that the greater width is actually going to cause a bit of a problem with wheel bite unless you've already got a ton of clearance. _________________ I roll my own.

| Yeah, you'd probably need to add at least an extra 1/8 inch riser. I personally wouldn't run these in front, just as rear traction wheels. |

Well, I guess I'll find out in a few days.
And I can actually narrow both trucks (Skennet/Airflow) and see if it will help if they're too wide.
