Theres apparently a push race and a "longboard slalom" whatever that means. I couldnt find any info on the push race, anyone know what the course is like? the slalom course is being set by skip, james you have any info? this looks like an event i might wanna make. If anyone has additional info on the push race or slalom, hit me up.

Sorry to get info to you so late.  There was a 7 mile push race followed by a tight dual slalom on saturday (last), followed by a downhill race through downtown sunday.  I don't have the full slalom results, but it was Michael Dong, Zak Maytum, and Brad Jackman 3rd.  For push it was Robin McGuirk (surprised?), Erikson Kolberg, and Eric Hovey 3rd.  DH I have more results:
1st Patrick Switzer
2nd James Kelly
3rd Casey Morrow
4th David Mitchell
5th Kevin Reimer
6th Robin McGuirk
7th Patrick H
8th Dani Hawes (all regular footed)
We had Dan Hawes from Australia, Thibault Courtois and Clement Gayraud from France, plus the assorted Canadians and Mercado's crew.

Hopefully next year we can expand the slalom events to include a giant.

We don't get up to Seattle as often as we'd like!  We're hoping to make it to the end of summer event in Salem though.
I'll be sure to promote our race on this site earlier next year, and as soon as I confirm the dates of next years FOS we'll start planning it.  In the meantime, everyone missed an awesome event.  Jon Huey just posted his pics:  http://photos.breakawayind.net/p416784486

So stoked to see this go off Judy -- congrats on what looked like an awesome event and first-year total success!!

I hope to make the end of year Salem thing as well.

Huey's pics are always incredible, what talent.   And on that side note, his Mud Bay run stuff was hilarious!!
