I was just wondering if there are some areas in or around Durango that might be LDP friendly. fairly flat with decent pavement,  if you know of any plese reply.

I don't have any current info to give you, but I once did a mile race there and it was a very flat straightaway point-to-point on Main. Like Boulder, it's hilly to mountainous near the city, but in town it's pretty flat.
