I rode this trail 8 miles out and back, starts at "The Breakers" condos in north end of Long Beach and continues a few more miles to the south end of the Peninsula. Talked with a local and found out this trail was finished just 4-5 years ago.
Butter smooth asphalt and some interesting sights along the way, lots of undulation in the trail, not exactly a full-on flatland LDP pump trail but right along the beach and you can't ask for more than that.

Skated right past a bald eagle, probably 20 feet away without even realizing it until I turned around to take a shot of a bridge and trail. That made the whole trip.
