Hey everybody, i'm pretty new to this LDP thing, but extremely hooked (first 15 mile ride yesterday ). Right now my pumping setup is a 38" fibreflex pintail with paris trucks all around. I was having a ton of trouble pumping the paris trucks until i realized that wedging for a paris truck is almost opposite the wedging for the bennett tracker setup that seems to be very common for LDPing. The kingpin on paris trucks is already at 50* and after reading the Virage LDP thread i noticed that on randal style trucks pavedwave only wedged the kingpin to about 60*. So instead on wedging the front 15* like people do for bennetts i only wedged about 9* on the front. The real epiphany came when i realized the back truck needed about 20-25* degrees of dewedging to get the same "deadness" as other trucks. I have found this setup to be amazing, i get up to around 16 mph (slight downhill maybe), at around 12 mph i can lock into an effortless pump (yay GPS!), and i can literally pumping for miles without touching the ground (amazing feeling btw) . So far this setup has seen about 100 miles of pumping and my only real compliant is the lack of real estate in the nose and tail of the fibreflex (which i otherwise love-nice snappy flex)
So really the piont is paris trucks don't need hardly any wedging in the front, but in the back a ton of dewedging is needed for pumping. I hope i wasnt telling you guys something you already knew, I really wanted to put this up for someone like me, who is new to pumping and wants to try it out on their own setup, with only some minor adjustments.
Hope this helps and sorry of I rambled a bit

| Sounds great! I learned to pump on reverse KP trucks and wouldnt mind going back some time. If you want to cut a lil height off your rig you might consider picking up a randal plate for the rear, either a 35* (cheaper) or a 28* (kinda pricey) so you dont have to put in so much (de)wedging. |

That's for the advice! i've been meaning to just get a tracker rts because if i remember right there only about 22 dollars online, plus then there'd be zero issues with kingpin clearance. I'd also like to add that my bushing setup is venom super carves (the yellow ones, not exactly sure the duro) up front and stock paris venom bushings (90a?) in the back. The front bushings seemed to get chewed up pretty fast on the bottom, so i changed the the bottom one to a barrel and put a flat washer on them and now its fine (i think thats the standard bushing setup instead of supercarves). The rear truck's bushings are pristine
