Hi everyone,
I would like to buy a board that is suitable for ldp.
Since I am in Holland and the specific ldp boards like galac are not readily available, I am looking at boards that my local shop has in stock.
I can get a Insect Big Bug
Length: 44" (112.0cm)
Width: 8.75" (22.25cm)
Form: Camber/Concave
Wheelbases: 34" + 35.5" (86.3cm + 90.1cm)
Or a Fibreflex 44" kicktail
44" x 9"
Wheelbase: 28" - 30" adjustable
And they also have a Insect Dragonfly which I have seen mentioned a few times over here.
All boards seem to have the perfect length, maybe the big bug is a tad too long, and seem to be wide enough.
Is there anyone that has some experience with one of these boards?
BTW: I already have the 5.0 bennet / 129 mm tracker combo with suitable wheels.
Hi Supermatt,
the Insect Dragonfly is an excellent option. I learned LDP on one. Great really great board although not LDP specific but you can tweak wheelbases. Talk to Steve at Insect and tell him what you want and he may be able to help you. He did one Firefly for me as LDP test. See related info on other messages.
