I was doing a search on Silver fish and I found a very interesting link on wheel manufacturer who uses what manufacturer to pour or design their wheels.

I have been using sector 9 wheels lately because I can get them for 20% off at K5 surf shop.It seem they are molded at the same manufacture as abec 11, 3dm/seismic and others. They work great for me.

So maybe this might help you out when you decide on wheels It may just be shape or urethane formula that makes your decision.

Myself when I skate down Highway 101 on such varied terrain that is butter smooth then ruff as a cheese grater. With broke glass and rocks so that why I am leaning toward the sector 9's they are all center set so you get no coning and have rounded edges. I am saving my seismic and abec 11's for butter smooth surfaces.

So what wheels do you pick and for what reason ? Status symbol ? shape? performance? or all around good wheels that gets you around?

Wonder if we could get our own personal wheels poured Very Happy
Would be fun to customs wheels!

Some good info though, esp if maybe some cheap wheels poured at the same place will be just as good as the more expensive ones.

Mmm, cheaper
