Gorgeous! What Venoms are you running up front? I'm 165 and I'm thinking about changing from Khiros. _________________

| It's a beauty in green. Are the white washers under the screw heads to stop the heads pulling through the board? Or for some other reason? |

The bushings up front are (from bottom to top) a squished thinly cut slice of a white khiro barrell, then a large metal cup washer, then the orange venom barrel, then the hangar, then the yellow venom cone, then a large metal cup washer.
The washers on the hardware are 'deep' washers, they are taller than normal vynl washers and are cup shaped where the head of the bolt fits. I busted the heads off 4 bolts trying to put this together ( .......) so i tried using these washers to see if it would help. I still busted one head off after i used them, but no problems since. I used them to protect the board and to help prevent too much stress on the heads of the bolts, but it also works nicely up front as a 'stomp pad' like on a snowboard. It holds my foot nicely in place without the need for a toestop. I havent had a chance to put extensive miles on this setup, but so far i dont see any need for a toestop. |

| ive had a chance to put some real miles on the pulse now so i feel more comfortable posting some first impressions. The board shape itself is near perfect, space where you need it, air where you dont. The concave is steep and takes a bit of getting used to, but overall i like the performance it delivers. My pulse is very stiff, i ordered it that way. My theory on stiff vs bouncy is lots of flex allows you to store more potential energy in the board, however a stiff board releases its potential energy efficiently. I cant figure out how to explain it any better than that, but i think the science would back me up. As for the 5.0 vs. 6.0 Bennett, i can firmly say i prever the 5s overall. Im pumping up hills i always used to push up. Im going further, faster and being less tired afterwards. The tall washers were weird up front for a few miles, but after some time i got really used to them. It gives me a good indication of where i am on the board without looking down. I could see how it might lead to blisters or something over REAAALLLY long distances, but it also reminds me to move my feet around, so who knows. Im having a little foot pain (either from the concave or the stiffness of the board), but it usually fades quickly. Im also getting some strange sounds out of the back truck that i havent figured out yet. Overall im a very happy skater atm. |

Every Pulse that I've seen looks different, and they are all beautiful. Scott is an artist, and a master craftsman.
I love your back truck, too. That thing is freaking beautiful, isn't it? What a sweet setup. |
