i created this forum after getting several requests over several years from people around the globe, to set up a forum specific to pumping, or distance, or a combo of the two.

and i've always been a bit reluctant to do so, if only because there are already so many user+password based forums out there, which i like to support (ncdsa, silverfish, northwestlongboarding, eastsidelongboards, lushboards.com, gravityboard.com, etc...) and, because i can honestly say i'm not going to be one of those 24-7 moderators--- there's too much skating to do!

however i do see the value in being able to easily post pics, vids, and categorize topics 1000x better. and this community has grown slowly and steadily, especially over the past 6 years.

i would definately like to reach out to all the riders who keep pushing the envelope, and keep pumping the distance on their boards. every time you hit the trails, you see the eyes bugging out, the necks turn, the smiles, the good vibes, and maybe even giving someone a laugh when you're learning new pumps, or when you hit a pinecone and give someone a little show.

so i don't have any grand scheme for how i want this forum to look-- just putting it out there. the rest i leave to you!
