Hi everyone.  I live in on the central south coast of the U.K. And am having problems finding a decent ldp route longer than a couple of miles.
Bognor promenade is the best I have come up with so far, about 1.7 miles between Aldwick and Felpham of lovely smooth tarmack with one horrible rough as hell section in front of Bognor pier... My buddy and I hit it up on Sunday in a force 7 gale blowing from behind. So much fun we had to do it twice !

Anyway, I was wondering if any UK aficionados had any other non-road routes/ trails they would share for myself and others...

Brighton isn't too far for you and you can use the sea front cycle path from Hove lagoon all the way to the Marina - I would guess around 4 miles or so each way maybe.

Hi
I pump along the Bournemouth promenade, total length is 11-12km I think.
Although it is asphalt all the way some parts are indeed as rough as a ducks ass. I would love to find a path, in the UK south, that is in great condition, pretty level and more than a mile or two long.
Search goes on..
