MotionBoardShop

17230 Bothell Way NE
Lake Forest Park WA 98155
206-779-3272

An awesome skate shop in the north end of Seattle --

Hours are something like 10--5 or 6.  Call Trevor and ask if he's got what you're looking for -- chances are he'll order it for you if not!   Great place to go check out the latest stuff.

To get there, just follow Lake City Way up past 145th, down the long hill where there's a big strip mall on the left, with Third Place Books, Great Harvest, Starbucks, etc etc. --- the skate shop is ACROSS the street, on your right.   It's actually pretty easy to miss, since there's only a couple businesses on that side of the street.   Keep trying, it's totally worth it.   I usually just stop by when I'm out riding on the Burke, it's literally ON the trail!

Here's some shots and some news off their blog:

"In the last 6 months, we’ve drastically expanded the longboard and skateboard division of our business. We have a great following of local skateaholics that especially love racing down the hills of Lake Forest Park on their drop-deck speedboards. We now carry high end brands like Landyachtz, Rayne, Loaded, Earthwing, Abec11, and Randal to name a few. ... Our employee Trevor has been a huge help and is the real expert when it comes to everything skate related. He even makes his own boards by the name of “Totem.”"

Thanks for the love James & Blake!  We're nothing without the support of our local crew!  We're doing the best we can and are so stoked about what the future holds.  AND we plan on giving back to our community in every way possible.

I just wanted to post a couple more recent pics.  Also, we have some exciting news.  This spring we will be fully stocked with Insect and Kebbek boards along with Rogers Bros and a few smaller, local manufacturers.  In no time at all we'll have Bell Helmets and bombsquad noseguards on our shelves.  In stock now are Bones bearings, venom bushings, madrid decks, earthwing decks etc.

Great shop guys.

It might be helpful if you (or someone) could take a picture of the shop from the burke-gilman trail. That way people can recognize the mural during the ultraskate and stop in if they need replacement bushings, bearings, etc.

Here's my shot of the mural from the Burke-Gilman walkthrough!

Jason and Katie, it was awesome having your sponsor us for our Ultraskate this weekend, and making it out to the lake late at night as well  -- thanks!!!
