I ordered the deck based on the Pulse v2.0. I wanted asymmetrical elements for a little form and a little function. Form cuz it looks cool. Function cuz there isn't anything symmetrical about a longboard stance (unless your hanging 10). Scott M. at Subsonic was pretty cool about drawing up some shapes. Actually, he cut wood shapes to verify that the physics and geometry of the Pulse would be preserved. I never saw the actual final shape. This made the wait more fun, as I did not know what it would look like. The board arrived 1 month later. It came out 42". To say I was pleasantly surprised is a gross understatement.
I set it up last night with Ian the Groove Worshipper. (kudos).
More pics and reports on the ride later.

| Man, that is freaking gorgeous!! I have to confess I did see some of Scott's draft templates on this, but it evolved even further since then ... his craftsmanship is incredible. Hope to hear how she rides soon! |
