A few of my own goals:

    - Rekindling friendships using more phone, less email -- finding my lost cel phone would be a good start.
    - Some really big distance skate journey -- "really big" means within the constraints of keeping my job and a happy household (a much bigger hurdle than you might think!!)
    - Sliding.
    - A lot more vegetables.
    - Being more concise; stop writing really long pos...

Would be great to hear your 2009 goals / resolutions no matter how big or small!!

-Getting my butt off to school. I have been working at my local mart for nearly a year now. I am done with that. No - more - retail!
-Getting real serious about sorting out a portfolio.
-Getting past 360's in technical sliding.
-Spend less money on long boarding.
-Get rid of some of my boards. My OSD is gone and probably my Humu. I'll prolly keep my Dervish, just because it's so beaten up. A slide setup might go as well, seeing as they are the type of boards I'll have the least problem finding when I'm of studying in the UK (Faltown).
-Be happy. Don't get me wrong, I'm a jolly fellow, but it has somehow gotten much easier for me to just get all blue. I WILL RENEW MY FIGHTING SPIRIT!
-Get some miles under my belt. One of my few real LDP trips was today, and it was even outside. It felt real good, but I need more leverage on that front truck, or maybe less wedging. I'm sure the GTCPLDP I ordered will sort that out (notice how this is relevant to my 4th resolution).

my biggest goal is

-get 150 miles ultra skate by the end year (or atlease join the 100 mile club)

-and get hit 40 DHing by the end of the year

-save up for a Roe Mermaid or Subsonic Pulse

-and get the hang of slalom boarding.

yes all of my goals are longboard related (longboarding is my life)

How Do All Wink

Happy new year.

My goal for this year is just to be happy, if I achieve anything more than that it will be a welcome bonus Smile

Take care,
Barry Wink

I just want to participate in one of the ultraskates in the nw this year. Id really like to hit 100 miles in one trip, but that would probably involve quitting smoking  Rolling Eyes which is another great goal, but equally if not more challenging.
