How Do All Wink

I would like to share with you all some photos from the London Freewheel event.

This is a Cycle event held in central London which was sponsored by Sky Sports.
Several miles of roads were closed to all motor vehicular trafic to allow the cities cycling population to let their hair down and get crazy on bikes without the worry of being molested by cars, buses, cabs and lorries.

there were in attendance a few human powered Skate Vehicles, of the push and pump kind ridden by Myself (Barry), Nat (Nat), Calum (Calumwp326), Vic (Ambient Void) & John (Duffer) from the Skatefurther crew.

We had a Rad time but I won't bore you with a lengthy post about it so here are the Pictures, some at the end were taken by Sky Sports photographers and were published on their website. Enjoy Wink

Sweet pics Barry!! Looks like the weather's holding up well there too. It's gonna start getting colder by October, hope you fellas are ready for that Very Happy

These are great events -- they recently held a no-car gig here locally at Alki beach, shutting down the roads for half the day. It was sporadically attended by skateboarders, lot of other stuff going on that weekend I guess. Anyway great to see this kind of awareness globally -- if it gets even just a few people thinking about dusting off their bike/board/skates/camel, it's totally worth it.
