I am making a short distance push/pump commuter (SDPPC if you didn't get it all ready). This is essentailly going to be a small board (32 inch at most) with a kicktail for curbs. I am keeping it small for easy carrying because it will be at school or on the bus with me. so it needs to be able to be under my arm or strapped to my backpack. I am thinking about using Randal 125's for both trucks just cause on my short commutes to the bus or school i need something that will be able to pump a little and bomb small hills. I am thinking the set up to be:
FRONT:
Truck: 125 hanger 42 or 50 baseplate (both Randal)
Bushing: Blue venom standard or Blue barrel with orange cone
BACK:
Truck: 125 hanger 30/DH baseplate (both Randal)
Bushing: Red standard or red barrel with green cone or green barrel with yellow cone.
My main question is how much should i wedge and de-wedge the trucks? since they are reverse kingpin trucks i am not sure. And should i run a normal pumper bushing set up on it? or should i run something different? I have been looking all around and i can seem to find anything on randal setups. so help would be much appreciated and any kind of setup critique would be nice to.
So guys please and thank you.
P.S. sorry if this made close to no sense.

wedge and dewedge, just a little less than an LDP.
i would nix the acronym and call it a "skateboard" |

i like the acronym and you said to put less wedge then LDP does that mean 5 front and back is more then i should have? _________________ The concrete is our canvas, our wave, our playgound, our catalyst for growth. i swapped the SMA little plane deck that i setup for pumping back around into a more "skateboard"-like setup.
30" long, 20" WB, bennett up front, thunder in the back, currently about a 5d rear dewedge and a 3d front wedge (more wedging makes it feel real squirrely).
fun little deck for getting around on, and even with the increased wheelbase (redrilled) there's still a smidgeon of kicktail left to get the nose up if need be (tho needs a bit of manhandling, esp. with big wheels back there).
and since it's clad in that ceramic polymer weave stuff, it's become my wet-day cruiser. i forgot how mushy bushings become in the wet! |

just start with 5-5 and "if it feels good, stay with it." Depends on what kind of speeds you hit and the whole balance between pumpability on flat vs. stability at speed. seems to me that combo should work great. |

| I would wedge it just like an LDP board, about 15* up front and about 5-10* in the back. I know you're looking to pump short distances but i think having an LDP setup might serve you well since the only real difference between pumping 1 mile and pumping 10 is where you plan to stop. |

Nice acronym, in my line of work almost everything is an acronym; i.e.(PEEP, PRVC, SIMV, IPRV, NIPPV, yada yada)
I'll take the SDP part of your acronym, how far qualifies for LDP? What I really need is an "SDP" for the daily 30min workout and an occasional 2 to 3 mile ride & not further than that any time soon. Considering an Axe Maximus redrilled to 24.5" for that very purpose. Bennett 4.3 front & stable seismic 105 rear to max the WB. There has got to be some flex with the WB out like that. Talk me out of this if it sounds ridiculous |

| Nope, no flex on the Maximus. Not even with a 24.5" wb. How much do you weigh? |
