I've heard from a couple people now that their attempts to register on this forum are thwarted by some problem with the confirmation code being misread.
Please drop a note (at pavedwave@comcast.net) if you've run into this issue or anything similar and I'll take it up with the phpbb mafia... er, management.
Thanks!

One suggestion -- if you're using Internet Exploder, try Firefox. This got at least one guy out of this jam.
Also try clearing the cache...it could be holding onto the previously input code.
cheers

Okay here's the other thing I've done for a couple people now.
If the above doesn't work, just send me your:
1- desired name for this forum
2- temp password (you can login and change)
3 - email address
....and I'll set it up for ya. the phpbb admins basically say all the issues tend to revolve around cookies and milk, something technical like that. |

A huge shout out to Dion from NZ who solved this engineering mystery... Rather than paraphrasing I'm just going to pass on his quote:
"It wouldn't register me when I changed to NZ time because NZ time is in the future for you guys (PST) & of course it wouldn't compute some future time. So if anyone changes the time to a time that is ahead of yours before they register they will get a message saying they put in the wrong confirmation code.
New members should register before changing the forums time to their local time."
That rocks Dion -- thanks!!!
