Ok I bought egret's pulse and I am open to suggestions with setup for this board. Please share your knowledge I am open to all suggestions. Thanks guys. So far I have ordered 4.3 and5.0 front bennetts with a tracker rt-s 129 for the rear. Wheels are up in the air I was thinking of trying those white avlias. I do like that grippy feel of the orange orangatangs.

the bennet 5.o is roughly the same size as the rt-s 129 so they make a good pair. The 4.3 would work but would pair better with a smaller rear, more like 105mm. Im excited to see how the new white avilas work out, i have a feeling they may be an excellent ldp wheel. the avila shape is REALLY grippy at ldp speeds and ive heard nothing but good things about the black ops urethane. Plus, with white wheels you can dye them any color you want |

I changed up some things today. First I replaced front bushings with two blue venoms instead of the khiros white and orange. It worked nicely but it doesnt' have that snap on the return to center but it makes the pumps much more on the easier side. I also tried using the purple orangatangs in front with the oranges in the rear and the start up speed is great not gradual like the orange orangatangs. In the rear I used orange venom bushings top and botom and that worked out well. Next time out i will try a firmer bushing in the front bennet. _________________ No stress get a hobby. Go skate |

Go look at the Cyber Mile page and copy Stocago's setup.
11 degree Bennett 6.0 up front
8 degree Seismic 155 in back
longest WB

This setup flies! |

Yup. I have that on a mermaid now. Green springs on seismic. Blue barrel on top, orange barrel and blue cone on bottom for Bennett. Effortless.
Except I don't dewedge the seismic and wedge Bennett 6.0 with standard soft wedge and 15 degree wedges. |

I think it is the aggressive dewedging of a Seismic (which already runs 'dead' right out of the box) that gives the high end top speed of Stocago's setup. At first, quite frankly, I hated it, but I've come full circle and love it now, and am pumping faster than ever. You have to get it going up to 11mph or so and really put some power into the rear of the board just to make the back end come alive, and it feels even better at around 15mph.
Try it! 8 degrees in back, or more if your board is flexy, a little less up front. |

Damn now I need a new rear truck. LOL I will give it a try. Does your lower end speed also increaase? With a wider front truck the pumps is wider and easier to get moving? I notice with the 4.3 it takes quicker and more agressive pumps to really get moving. _________________ No stress get a hobby. Go skate |

| Actually, wider hangers, more dewedging, larger wheels and a longer wheelbase will be like putting a higher gear onto a bicycle, thus will make it harder to accelerate or pump effortlessly at low speeds. But the payoff can be sweet when you get it up to speed. |

Dammit Ian! I thought I had it dialed. Biggest difference I've noticed is the harder bushings. The trail I usually got to has a particular hill that I usually have to put my foot down for but with the stiffer bushings I was going up pretty easily. Dewedging eh?
I just noticed what you and stocago are up to with the cyber miles. Good stuff. You guys are getting up into the khiro reds. Interesting. Ya'll should post some videos.
