Wow, that sucks. I was looking to use this as a makeshift LDP and you say the deck is heavy? I thought it was just maple and some kinda laminate. Did you get the orange(med. flex) deck? Did you, by chance, take photos of this rig before you took it apart?

| I just got the Mermaid complete from Stoked. I love it. I gave some more information about it in another post. Gear advice for beginners. |

The set up is still together until the Mermaid arrives, its the Orange medium flex. I'll try to take some pics. It's maple, maybe only a lil heavier than average, but heavier than I was expecting. It's not a bad pumper at all, but probably not the best for all pump long distance .
