I had some time to kill an decided to turn my unused KrackedSkulls Scimitar into an LDP deck. After cutting off one of the ends, removing the wooden risers, filling up the holes with epoxy and turning the remaining dropmount into a topmount with some thin metal plates I put on a Bennet/RTS combo. I must say I'm very pleased with the endresult, and the board pumps like a dream. To prevent my bushings from getting chewed up I use a piece of disposable suction tubes we use in our dental practice. Works just fine

| Length is 39" , wheelbase 30,5 " and the flex is comparable to the Roe Mermaid (perhaps just a tad stiffer..) |

| If we can get the guys at kracked skulls to do this "from the factory" it could be the most affordable LDP available. |

I should actually have one today or tomorrow. I have a promo code with them. I told William, the owner, about this the other day.
Just email him and get a quote for the deck. Use promo code 'lucky' and tell him Ryan from Phoenix refered you and he's give you a discount.
I'll post up once I get it put together. Let me know how it goes! |

Terrific! Looking forward to seeing the results.
(A buddy of mine is looking to get a pumping board but really doesn't want to shell out $140+ for just the board.)
FYI, Here's his website/contact info:

ALSO, what size "Scimitar" did you order?
I was thinking 40", but that would be AFTER it was cut down, so... |

He's using a 46" Scimitar and just cutting one end off. So it should be right arounb 38" - 40". I'll post all the measurements when I get it.
I can't wait. I'm going to San Diego next week, so I'll be pumping it all over the boardwalk
