I went for a quick 20 miler on the trail this morning 7-9 a.m.
The aforementioned construction north of the university is COMPLETE! You will not need to use the crappy detour. I didnt see any new construction on my path but i only traveled less than half the trail.
It is VERY slick in places. It was quite wet when i started at 7 but had dried out a bit by 9 and looks like it will continue to dry out for at least some of the day today. Wet leaves, pine needles, blossoms and other detritus on the trail is a serious hazard, please be careful out there. I ate sh!t hard on my way back on some unseen leaves. Best of luck! |
