We have a really accurate scale at work for postal transactions, and it's good up to around 25 lbs, so I figured, just one more chunk of data to geek out on
1. Roe Mermaid Medium Flex, 77mm BlackOps Vents 83a, Bennett front, Splitfire rear. 8 lbs, 9 oz total.
2. Roe Mermaid Light Flex, 77mm BlackOps Vents 80a, Bennett front, Seismic rear with Med Green springs. 7 lbs, 15 oz total.
3. Custom "Pinky" foamcore from Bryan, 76mm Abec11 Pink Gumballs, Bennett front, Seismic rear with Med Green springs. 7 lbs - total!

Well, on this thread I was originally thinking picture-low, data-high, breaking with tradition of lots 'o visuals... but sure why not?
I just heard the old "half pound Avila" thing on the Fish one too many times today, and decided to go weigh some random unmounted wheels. While it's true Avilas are 8 ounces a piece, here's some weights of other wheels for comparison. The range is around 0.5--1 ounce per wheel difference -- at the very most, except for the big 101's. I haven't weighed my Abec11 97mm's, I'm not so bored that I want to start taking my boards apart just for this.

Gecko, with such large wheels in front with a bennett 4.3, have you had any problems with truck bite or wedge bite? I got bit hard with avilas in front, the inner lip hit the wedging and tossed me bad, messed up my arm for a while. Im getting them trimmed down so i that doesnt happen again and using bigzigs in the meantime. Just be careful. How do those minus 5s ride?
