Thanks Coochmon, it is an option we are exploring, it would be a simple length with threads each end (making a kind of floating axle) or a really long single axle similar to the current ones. ...exploring the practicalities and materials.
Has anyone who received the V1 also got a V2 hangar yet
I just got a V2 hangar and was curious to compare with the pics of the broken virage to see where the mod is
seems to have less alu than more....??.......;
the edges which previous were getting knotched by cupped washers have been chamfered, but otherwise I see no difference.
If the notches were def the problem then that's ok but the pictures posted by Concrete Liberty showing fissures suggest otherwise...
I'll post pics when I have time but untill then....
Is anyone who has a V1 and also a V2 hangar able to compare better?

You know you COULD always email me personally and ask the question! (Rather than suggest they are less beefy!)
The trucks are subltley beefier in appearance, substantially beefier in performance. It is hard to see where and that's exactly how we designed it. Its also one reason why the hangers are now polished, so there is an easy way to spot the new ones! I count that as a success if you can't tell!
Unless you put the two hangers next to each other you likely won't spot the difference, and thats how I like it.
By the way, we sent a new set of trucks to Concrete Liberty. No reply, no acknowledgement. You know it works BOTH ways. Thanks. Sometimes I wish we'd just refunded you your money.

Stridey,
Sorry if I came over negative in my post, and did it publicly rather than directly with you, but at least now everyone knows what's what with the V2 Vite hangar - you should really blow your own trumpet occasionally.
That's a pretty cool trick to pull off BTW, designing the new hangar to look almost identical to the last;
Anyone might think that you were trying to f*ck with our heads!

Here's some pictures of the two trucks. Many many thanks to Stridey for being such a generous sponsor of our big charity skate yesterday. He let me have a look at the new V2 so I've been able to take a couple of pictures of it for you.
The differences between the two trucks look very subtle. I think because the V2 is so highly polished the sharp edges are a little softened and look a bit subtler but there is definitely more 'meat' on the hangers. I hope the photographs can show it clearly enough.
Here's my version 1, mounted to the Bakaboard Split Decision.
And here's the new version 2 with the extra thickness around the inner ends of the axles.
The finish on the V2 is so lovely and shiny you can see your face in it! Literally! I had to get the right angle for this shot to avoid any reflections... it's shiny shiny.
I rode my V1 in the rain at the last Ultra, that's the forth Ultra skate that I've ridden it on. The spherical needed quite a lot of oil after all the rain so I gave it a good soaking in lube and it feels as good as new again now. Next time I shouldn't leave it overnight until I check to see how much water got in!
I can see its noticeably more beefy, and yes the shine........removing my V1 baseplate right now to get it on the buffer and match them up _________________ Pulse II

Saves me the bother! I do hope Garretts arrive soon otherwise people will think just the Brits get them!
Octane Team rider Bruno uses one for Giant slalom and all other kinds of uses and was riding one yesterday for the 14 mile Bath to Bristol Event that Jo organised......he did not quiet understand the meaning of "ITS NOT A RACE" !!!!!

Thanks Michael. I have been watching my door step for almost 3 weeks now haha. It would be an understatement to say I am excited. I would much rather receive the truck than get a refund. I have waited to god damn long for this. LOL. _________________ Garrett
