Why a cupped washer? Why do all (most?) manufacturers use cupped washers? What are the pros and cons of having them?
My set up:

Cupped washers, especially with barrels, cause the bushing to compress quite quickly and evenly. They help the bushing provide maximum rebound but it comes at the cost of limiting your turn somewhat. I personally prefer flat washers in the front becuase I want to turn as deeply as possible. In my rear truck, i use cupped washers so that they provide maximum rebound and limit the amount the rear truck leans.
I guess technically thats a cupped washer but its flipped over.
