What's best?Hi all, I'm new to this site and been skateboarding 35 years. Now I just discovered pumping by accident on my new Logan Earth ski and I'm hooked. I have several longboards but find it much easier to pump on the shorter board like flexdex 29 and the Bruce logan 30. I'm a bit tall and heavy (611"285lb) and wounder if that might be the reason why the short boards work for me. Took the 56"dreggs, S9 nosewalker, fibreflex 43 pintail landy dh and even a bmw street carver and and wasnt able to get them going like the short boards.
What would be a good set up for someone like me? Thank you guys so much this forum is great!

Sergio,
The long board larry walkabout would be great for you starting out LDP board for you. You can call Larry tell him your weight he can add a ply or two adjust for your weight.Plus the manufacture time is pretty fast with Larry.
Then set it up on the short holes with with Tracker sts 129 mm on the back and tracker RTS 129 mm on the front or a bennett 5.0 on the front.
for the tracker trucks link click on slalom trucks.
Wheels use Abec 11 grippin their a center set wheel and will evenly distribute your weight and will be great for pumping.
Khiro solid rubber 80a hard wedge pads to evenly distribute the weight on the base plate and board. A 1/4 inch Khiro plastic wedge to give you wheel clearance. I am sure other will also have some suggestions.
Here are some links for you.
