as i said, dewedge the back truck a bit more.

don't know anything about your wedging but i assume you're running the same bushings front as rear?   if so, you want something stiffer in back and looser in the front.

pretty impressive you can pump vertical!   Laughing

I did notice that your front foot is 3" or so shy of the front truck. Try placing your front foot OVER the front truck, and the back foot in the middle of the deck. That might help. And like JP said, we need to know bushings(red stock or yellow stock), truck orientation (flipped or not), wedging/dewedging. Then you will really get the answer you want.

i'm not an expert by no means but besides the above i think you are not moving your hips properly and your not lifting your body enough. The way i do and my suggestions are:
It is more important to move your hips correctly than moving your arms which of course it does help. I move my hips in a soft but strong rocking oval motion - sort of leaving behind my legs or my legs are caching up with my hips. And when i'm initiating my motion with my hips i lift my body up - this is a technique and requires practice - you will feel it sooner than later (so practice and you can start just moving your hips right) and when i'm about to reach the other side with my hips i drop my weight.
If you want to gain speed then i use more my arms and motions are shorter, faster and sharper then relax again.

Hope it helps.

Thanks, Juan M>

read this the other day:

weight front foot, shift weight to rear foot.  do this while moving your hips like you are doing the holahoop.  tried it today and it seemed to work.
