washers as angling risers

i have heard of various washers being used to wedge or de-wedge trucks is that true?
pavedwave

i've seen guys stack washers under one end of a truck to wedge.  it works - I'm not aware of any downsides to it.  I'd try it with a shock pad though so the deck doesn't have big permanent washer circles embedded into it.

i used to do that....until i realize i can't get even angle on each side.
lol

Also, if you stack it directly, over time, it'll cut thru the deck

I have also seen it done when you could get Rad Pads anymore the original angled riser.  It was not a good way to do it bent hardware and pulled through foam boards. Make them out of wood of just get the Khiro kit.

yeah if you have some old building blocks or can find some at a garage sale / salvation army, you potentially have a huge set of really excellent risers.
