subsonic pulse

Got my Pulse for my 31st bday in August and have loved the shit out of it ever since. With the pavedwave standard Bennet front, tracker rear, lemon/lime wheels. The stock bushings, esp. the Bennets didnt really work for me - swapped the front out for some orange and white Khiros.

Had a squeaking sound that wasn't the pivot cup, one of the mounting holes was a little bit skewed maybe cause one of the bolts was slightly askew, I tightened down the hardware and that stopped the sound - but the boltheads were sunken into the fiberglass top layer pretty deep - it didn't feel like it was that tight but they sunk in like butter, My fault for not payign attention to em. Since the damage was done I left em alone - now many miles later I couldn't back em out if I wanted to - the fiberglass upper layer has closed back up around over the heads. Hopefully they're not on their way to pulling through, I could drill em out and leave the heads as washers inside the deck but for now I'm just leavin it be.

Anyway, love the deck, since I got it I havent been able to ride any of my other boards at all, they just dont feel as good.

Yup.
LD skater since 1971

Did you use button head screw or counter sunk screws ?
I always use button head screws on composite laminated or foam boards so they don't pull through.
But I don't think your in danger of it pulling through the birch laminated part of the board.
I have only seen bolts pull through foam slalom boards or G&S made a foam/fiberglass laminated Vert board and NHS made a foam glass vert board that even button head screws would pull through.

it came assembled with counter sunk screws in the front truck, buttons in the back.
