skating bare foot and my new spliffI just received in the mail today my limited edition Bustin board Spliff from skate warehouse $71.99.
This is one cool 31" long by 9" wide cutaway pumper if you set it up right it flys.
I put some Seismic 105 mm trucks 45 hangers degree on both ends. Extra light springs on front and light springs on back.
I put some Abec11 Lime green 66mm Zig Zags all the way around .
The board really cooks when you know how to set up a slalom board up.
The problem most people had with this board was they put to wide a truck on it. The ride feels like a 36 " board because of the up turn nose wear the truck mounts and act like a rad pad riser and also the camber in the board for pumping. I can't wait till sunday to take it on a a long 10 mile plus ride.
I also got to ride bare foot it been about 36 years was the last time I rode bare foot because it was called sidewalk surfin back then. The feel was awesome under your feet.I have seen the Vibram foot shoes Paved wave wears at A16 but their out of my price range. Plus I feel safer going long distances with shoes on. But I think I may start cruising around my little mobile home park by the sea to do some sidewalk surfin.

very interesting... I just wrote on the fish that the Sojourn/spliff would probably be better suited for a shorter truck. I've run my Sojourn with the 180's and it just doesn't feel right. I've had my bennett 6.0 on it, and it was pretty awesome, but now that is on my new ROE. Sounds like I need to order some new trucks and turn this into my commuting pumper.
glad to hear you are pumpin' the bustin... gives me hope.

I just did 15 miles today on the Bustin board spliff. The first 13 was down to Delmar and back with light{red} springs on the back truck and the Extra light{yellow} springs on the front truck. I did okay got some long pumps in on slight inclines. But I was not happy with it so on the flat and the length of the pumps. The board Skogs great.
So I went home and put the Extra light {yellow} on the rear and Max light {Bone} springs on the front. Wow what a big difference it made it pumps like crazy now I can keep it going up small inclines now.
I have always like very loose truck compared to most people so That why I think it works for me even though I weigh about 185 lbs.
I tried a few Skog pushes with the new spring combo it seem stable.
I also like that I can turn really tight turns going down hills with this spring combo. I never got wheel bite at all I am happy with this board.
Just put your front foot in the nose dip and start pumping and you go faster now.
