Shoe Goo for your worn out pushing shoe

I was looking at my favorite pair of Etnies with my right foot the tread almost gone. I did not have to worry about stuff like this when I was on Vision street wear and then moved to Vans team when Everett Rosecrans moved to Vans. You would get 2 pairs of shoes per month.

But now to the Future I am almost 47 and paying for my own shoes again.
What to do when you have no shoe sponsor?

I remembered what I use to patch up the contact strike points on the heels of my new balance running shoes when I use to run 70 miles a week. New balance were comfortable back then but wore out quickly.

Shoe goo works like magic get a tube and  then a popsicle stick and spread a thin coat of shoe goo like your spreading peanut butter on a PB&J sandwich. Let it dry for 1 1/2 days your all set to go skate on.

It best if you have two pairs of shoes so you can alternate between application times so you always have a shoe ready for action.

I've been using ALL areas of the bottom of my foot when braking.  When the first two main places are almost gone (ball of foot and heel area)  I start sliding on the edges, the toe, edges of heel, edges of edges, trying to burn them down as evenly as possible.

My wife's started thumpin my head for not asking for sponsorships, given the media coverage this year on the commuting and the interstate treks.  I've always been hesitant about asking for things.   While Barefoot Ted says "Just ask!!!"  Yeah, I know.

Shoe goo's good stuff.   Also, Ted used some of these "Sure Foot" patches on our skate down to Portland -- they extend the life a bit, and they're easy to pack along and just slap on quickly:
