Oust BearingsHow Do All
Has anyone tried the Oust Moc 7 & 9 bearings?
Can you tell me what you think of them, and does anyone know how they compare to Rockin Rons Ballistech Missiles?
Or failing a comparison to the above how about a comparison to Bones Reds?
Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Take care,
Barry

Hey Barry,
I have not rode the Oust bearings yet but i was in a skate shop in California last year buying some things and the owner of the shop said he knew the guy who made Oust Bearings and he said they were fantastic. I didn't buy them in the end due to price (even at $2 to the pound) however I did buy oust bearing oil which is rather nice.
Sorry I can't be further help, I'm quite skeptical about bearings at the moment I normally run Bones Reds in my longboards and swiss on my park board and I'm not sure I feel a great difference. I'd love to do some subjective tests with bearings i.e 2 sets of brand new bearings over slight decline that you can bomb straight down without carving then measure the speeds and time taken.

I believe Oust bearings were the bearings of choice a couple of years back.
They have a deeper race for the balls.
Peter Verdone likes them.

I don't know if they're worth the extra cash IMO. One of my friends was running them and it just didn't seem worth it. YMMV.
