So, I'm new to LDP. I have a free deck coming in, and it should make a good LDP deck. However, I am unsure about the trucks to put on it. I know in normal longboarding, you try to match deck and truck width. Is that the same in LDP?
I've been reading around, and it looks like a lot of people like Bennett 5.0's as front trucks, what about 6.0's? The deck I'm getting will be around 10" wide at the front, so should I opt for the longer hanger? Or stick with a 5.0?
Rear trucks... I have a Tracker RTS 129mm, is that a little narrow? should I go with a Randal 150mm, and de-wedge it? Get a new/wider hanger for my RTS?

I'd say the 4.3 or 5.0. Sounds narrow for a wide deck but works well in reality. The wider hanger is good for flatter riding, the narrower for is better for pumping up hills.
From what you've listed I'd use the tracker 129. I think 150 is too wide. Randal 125 would be a good alternative for the rear. The 5.0 matches up pretty well to a 129 tracker or 125 randal. The 4.3 works good with a 106 tracker, 105 seismic or 108 skandal.
Lets us know what you go with and how it turns out. Lots of good info in this forum, so you might want to read some of the stuff here.

since youve already got an rts 129 sitting around, id say your best option is the 5.0. They match up nicely and will be easier to get started than a 6.0/150 combo. you can always try the randal with a 6.0 later but thats going to be tougher to dial in and harder to pump at first. The 5.0/129 is pretty much the standard starting setup.
