new board set-up

I met with Trev at the Kiteboarding store and he gave me some great advice on setting up my new pumper....so i ordered a walkabout from LongboardLarry...really looking forward to getting it all set up.

Good for you! I love my walkabout and the kick nose is great for extended nose manuals even on turny Bennets. It manuals like a dream as well. Smile

Really cool, I have wondered about that.

Yea, I was dancing on a D!rv!sh and thought the LBL would be way better with it's stiffness. It's funny though. When I nose manual the ass end kicks out about 15 degrees toe side. It's a sight to see. I'm going straight and the deck is crooked as hell. I'll see if I can post up some footy here in the next week.

Sweet!   Love to see it.

i wonder if that's because of some kinda sweet spot on the bennett??   i've noticed on my short, pathetic manual attempts, it never really feels right going straight ahead, but just turn the truck slightly and it kinda locks in.

How Do All Wink

Hey Boomerdog; you are just going to love the Walkabout, I have not long had mine and I am so glad I decided to go for it I think it is a real piece or art.
I have not had time to post about it yet so here is a link to some photos of it : http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/Knotty.Bear/Longboards
Enjoy.

Take care,
Longboard Barry Wink (no pun intended)
