My new Galac LDPHere's some photos of my new Galac LDP in special orange glitter paint with purple O'tangs. John and I worked together on this over the summer and now it's ready for some distance as the cooler fall weather arrives. There's a Bennett up front and a Tracker RTS in the rear. I painted the Tracker black to match the Bennett. The trucks are wedged/dewedged front and rear. John really dialed in the bushing setup. The front truck has a Tracker bushing on top with a Bones soft/Khiro orange hourglassed on the bottom. The rear truck has a tracker hourglass on top and a custom hourglassed Bennett on the bottom. I put a couple of miles on it yesterday and I love it! I'm not going to change a thing, I'm just going to ride the hell out of it. Thanks John, you're the man.

Correction, it's ALMOST too pretty to ride. Im actually looking forward to riding it for miles and miles. John Galac, galacsurf@gmail.com, turned the bushing. He puts it in a power drill and uses a file to shape the hourglass. It has a waist a little narrower than a Tracker hourglass bushing. I didn't see him do it, but I don't think it's all that difficult to do. Email John if you need more info. He's a good guy and loves to share. He also makes an awesome LDP deck, right? Here's another shot that kinda shows the rear truck.

just be sure to be in a very open, ventilated area and wear a mask when filing / sanding / melting stuff like bushings! that stuff keels brain cells.
that'd be great if John can post his bushing mod here!
great lookin board, love the orange!

Good tips on working with urethane. I'll talk to John about posting his bushing mod. He's always tweaking bushing set ups. I'm very satisfied with the set up he did on my deck.
Thanks for the compliment on the deck. It was your orange deck that prompted me to get mine. Then I had to get it pimped out with a little glitter in the clear coat. You really need to see it in the sunlight to see the shine and sparkle. It's really a treat for the eyes.
