My LBL Walkabout LDP ;-)

How Do All Wink

I just wanted to spread the LBL stoke by showing off me Walkabout to you all, A Big thankyou to Mark and Edwin at Texas Longboards for the deck and long distance friendship, and to Jack and Wen at Solid Skate for the box of assorted trucks Wink
So Here it is: pics below text.
Bennett 5.0 in front 15 degrees wedge, 1/4" riser, Orange and White Khiro bushings with a milled Nylotron spacer tofill the bennett gap, 77mm speedents 79a.
Tracker RTS 129 in rear, 11 degrees De-wedge, 1/4" riser, Red and Yellow Khiro bushings, 77mm speedvents 75a.
Bones Reds bearings, Pan Head fixings with soft nylon washers to protect the deck top and machined, hard nylon angled washer wedges to stop the screws bending making and more stable seat for the nuts,

I have also a pair af 77mm speedvents 83a duro so I can change the wheel set up to a harder ride when the going is good.

I used the changed out red Bennett bushings for a foot stop and usid some M6 nuts to make tyhe inner hole a little smaller to fit the truck fixings better (no slop).

One more thing I did was to trim the drillings neatly as they were a little rough and I also varnished the inside of the holes just in case we get wet, I dont want the deck to start wicking waterand delaminating)

How Do Wink

Thanks for the kind comments.

The special wheels you see are actually correctly identified by LDS as Diabolos, I thought they looked just like a set of monsta Zigs so took the photo.
Diabolos are better for juggling than they are as wheels.

Take care,
Barry Wink

Nice pictures, in fact some of the best I've seen of the Walkabout. They impress how wide it really is........

How Do All;-)

Belegnole; Thank you for your kind comments.

I absolutely love my walkabout, I think I made the right choice in getting this deck, not only is it super nice to pump but it also looks the business, I like natural so having  the Carbon Fibre sandwiched out of site and just the wood and fabric on show is a nice touch.

Maybe sometime I will get to try the Pulse and Mermaid, maybe I will even prefer them to ride but for me the look of the LBL is for me.

Take care,
Barry;-)
