LDP teamsNot sure if this is already out there, but i think it would be really cool to add a team element to these distance races. it could be done like in cross country, where the top 5 runners score. First place gets one point, 11th place gets 11 points, etc.. The team with the lowest total score from those 5 runners wins.
With distance skating it might be tough to get 5 skaters, but if it were scored with the top 3 riders on a team... i think that would kinda rock.
i am planning on going to ROUGE next year, as well as some other races. it would be awesome to train/strategize/race with a team.
