Kudos for the Ridgid cordless driverAnyone else stumble on this little gem? Thumbs up. This Rigid tool is working very well for our Gbomb assembly process, and we have 8 extra screws b/c of the brackets. Great speed and consistent torque control. Small Lithium ion batteries. I hate to promote a tool from a big box store, but they got this right.
It is a well made tool and we have been using these for 6 months. Eric Lowell and Scott at Subsonic love it too. They run $139.98, but for those of you with more $ than wrench time, we highly recommend it. It brings much peace to the wrenching process and home projects too.

Ok, no doubt that a good cordless screw driver beats the heck out of the majority of junk that is out there.
Not drunk...but having a beer. The comprable Makita I saw beat the price the Ridgid by $20 or $40 bucks. But, from what I have experienced, I still believe the Ridgid is worth the extra $.
It is fun to discuss screwdrivers a bit, rather than skateboards. Put the Ridgid on the Christmas list, thank me later.

actually i have little idea how much X is priced over Y... all i know is it makes wrenching a deck 1000x faster-- good stuff!

so was the G|bomb Longboards sticker in the picture a bit shameless???
If not shameless enough…note that you can still pick up a G|Bomb deck for around the price of a great cordless driver.

pretty sure that Luigi is using the Ridgid, at least it is orange. I love this scene from Cars.
