Let us know how it rides!

one of the guys here actually prefers his RTS backwards. I think it might be Rodgon. He's posted a few videos of him pumping with it backwards - says it gives him a surfier feel.

i've tried running the reversed rt-s on a longer board, and it feels waaay too twitchy. Now, if I can get access to a heated indoor garage, i'm thinking of trying a reversed seismic. I'm thinking it might work as the same principle of the reversed rt-s, but with the ease of a seismic.
anyone done that?
or am I the only bat guano loco tinkerer to do so?

hahaha. its not me. but ive tried it. it works different. but it still works. you have to do a different rotation as with a normal pump.

there's a boeing engineer guy in seattle i met several years ago that ran two seismics, neither had springs, and the rear one was reversed. he's the one that got me inspired to tinker a lot with the springless feel, but I didn't play all that much with the angles... went with a more traditional pump setup.
i think the main issue is even though he could make it through the slalom cones, he couldn't generate as much speed as us without a more powerful return coming from the rear. great fun though!! with the reversed rears, your whole setup "slides" in the direction you point it, that's the quirky feel that takes some getting used to...
blake setup looks awesome, patrick alldred also rides that same deck for LDP from time to time, you might have met him at the last ultra. i'm up in canada right now else I'd try to hit greenlake with ya!

Blake was kind enough to let me try out this board on sunday and all i can say is it COOKS. I practically couldnt get off the thing, i had many boards to try out including several dedicated LDP decks and i still kept coming back to the trylam. Even though i weigh a good 40 pounds more than blake, his setup felt perfect for me, better than my own board. This will definitely be a deck i pick up in the future. Unbeatable price (compared to customs like roe, subsonic, lbl, roggs), pretty water resistant, incredibly consistent flex and FAST, thats my impression.

2nded! I really like the way Blake has this set up and I could swear his Trylam is a little flexier than Patrick's, we were thinking maybe this is because its an older model? This deck's one of S9's best in the lineup, IMHO.
I also really liked the way you had that superglider set up Meester Panda!!
