How fast am I?

I did a 2hr ride yesterday... EXACTLY 2 hours right on the mark when I stopped. Here are the stats-

distance- 21.05 miles
average- 10.53 mile/hr
top speed- 18.97mph
top speed (flatland)- 14.2mph (sprint-pumping)

so how does this compare to others?

ps- I woulda averaged 10.6 but I got stopped by a rent a cop... stupid wannabe cop cost me .05 miles or so....

That's pretty solid dude!   How did you feel at the end?   Blasted, or could have kept going?

My 12-mile commutes average in the high 9's up to 12mph, it depends how "hard" I'm hitting it and what season of the year.   This effort has been sporadic but tried to track commutes over the last few years here:

Why did the cop stop you???

I am a mtb racer, so it didn't kill me. I do 6hr races and rides and my races last about 1hr 30, which are all out efforts. Unfortunately I can't say I have exactly been training for those races as well as I should have. I coulda kept going, but my dad wanted his Garmin Forerunner 305 back to do his workout... haha. I only got 6 hrs sleep, so I was pretty dead today. I plan to go out tomorrow for awhile. I don't use my knees in the same way on the bike, so I can feel those little core muscles aching in there.

How fast are you?   Well if you look at it this way....

10.53 x 24 hours = 252.72

Knock lets say 4% off that effort and you will be at 242.61...A new world record.

I would say that's pretty solid.   Nice Work!!

haha, I wish. I will definitely try 24 hrs sometime. I just got my new board, which is really easy to pump. Problem is, I can pump it easily at slow speeds, which might mean that my laziness takes over and I start going slower....

I am going out for a 32 miler tomorrow, and if I am lucky, I will have GPS data on it.
