I had a friend take me to this place that’s built for bike Racing. The only one I have ever seen was in JP’s video’s. This thing was bad freaking ass. It’s basiclly a huge steep bank that goes around in a circle. I wanna say on the edges it was about 2 1/2 stories high. We would start at the top of one end and haul ass pushing to the top of the dome on the other end and try to pump around the massive curved bank. Very steep on the edges may I add. I was able to pump on the bank which was a first for me. We then had a bank session. We setup cones at he top of the bank closer to the middle and were taking turn sliding around the cones both front and backside. I upped the difficulty by setting up 2 cones in a row perpendicular. The idea was to front side slide no handed around the top cone and sharply cut in to take the 2nd cone on the way down. It worked and was crazy fun. My friend Matt was killing it on the slides. I manage to get a front side slide on some really steep Sh#t too…..Man this place was epic.

Sounds like you had a ball dude, that must be one of the smoothest surfaces to ride on ever, yeh even smoother than Dorney Laughing

Velodromes rule for bank surfing. I have skated the small san diego velodrome and raced in a fun race on 10 speed back in 1980. The bicycle track club would allow beginners to racer their 10 speeds in. It was fun and harry because you had people who did not know how to run on banks my skateboard experiences helped me out a lot in the race. You get hauling butt around them. I also skated the Calstate domenquez hills Olympic velodrome that was a ton of fun you can get some speed on the drop in. Because it so big.
