help with a set up

I need help with choosing a deck and set up.
Here is what I have to work with:
Bennett 6.0s
tracker rts/x 149
tracker rts/x 106
randal 125s, I have DH plates that I could use for a rear.
72a availas
grippins 78 / 84
tunnel str

Can I work with the trucks I have or should I purchase the 5.0 / 129 combo?
I have about $125 to work with.

Thanks for the help

I would use what you have for the time being and put all the money towards a dedicated deck.

I also would probably I use the 6.0 and the 149s with either the Grippins (centerset) or the str wheels (offset) flipped to give you closer to a 5.0/129 track, since that's what you seek. For better traction, I'd use the randal 125 hanger flipped with the DH plate (not flipping the strs for a wider track, to match the front better--or else use grippins front/str rear).

With the proper bushings and wedge/dewedging you should be able to dial in a great setup with what you have. The avilas are great, too, so feel free to experiment with those as well, I just prefer narrower wheels in front.

I would go with the 6.0 and the rts 149 with the 78 grippins all around (84 seems pretty hard even for a front wheel unless youre on perfect asphalt) and spend the money on a good deck. Alternatiely, id run the 6.0 frnt with grippins and the 125 rear with avilas. Basically what stocago said Smile except Im not a huge fan of the str.

As for which deck, if you want the budget option id say go for a fibreflex kicktail 44 or (my pick) the S9 trylam. If you can afford a little more, id say go for a mermaid, pulse, or walkabout.
