Have any of you takena ride on a Tactis GS thirllerI was looking at Tactis web site with the cheap Bennett's and cheap blast waves http://tactissk8shop.com/slalomdecks.aspxI was looking at his Board he offered especially the GS board and TS board. I sent a email off to Dano to see if he might be interested in doing a flatland pumper. It looks like he buts the camber and ridgety in the board with the rails that are sonic welded to the poly titanium oxide or poly graphite and the board would be real durable. Plus he CNC angled truck mounting positions and routers the board so wheel wells I gave him a idea dimension with a rounder nose 9.75 inches across 29 inch wheel base. In his contact box. But it would cool for rapid prototyping I have a idea for LDP board. On his site he charges only $30.00 set up fee for CNC routing. So have any of you north west guys set foot on his board at the oregon games olympics? What did you think of the ride and design? |

yeah actually I brought Barefoot Ted to that event and we spoke with Dano for quite a while about the LDP thing! great guy, we learned quite a bit about his process, and bounced a little, rode the hill just a little on some of his boards. i think the dampening aspect of that material would be a big plus. they may be a bit on the heavier side, but that's yet to be fully tested out. the "spines" on the bottom seem a really great way to fine tune the flex. i don't know if Ted ever followed up with him, and I just had too much going on this summer afterward to do so. it'd be great to hear back if you decide to run a custom with him! |
