charles river esplanade bike path - Boston, MAfantastic pavement in numerous sections. packed with healthy college kids, sometimes too many. lots of scenic boat houses like something from harry potter. a couple scary hazards/narrows/turns. have a feeling running over goose poop has the potential to send you down hard. potential for a 20 mile loop.

hmm... potential for say, a 24-hour ride? or even a 4-hour ride.
be great to see a vid of that some time, especially the hazards
