Today, I got to really ride the infamous Pulse which I built to look just like this one!
And I really have to thank all of you (and Scott) for both directly and indirectly helping me with my research to get this dialed. Pictures and ride reports hopefully soon to come.
Anyway, back to the subject heading, I have Carver's 29" board that I'd like to put some gear on again so I have a functioning mini. Previously, I had Revenge Trucks (Alpha II's) with Gumballs. Yes, it looked funny, but it rode like a dream. I actually like that setup better than the Carver C7s set! Those Revenges are now on another board, a Subsonic Swift I purchased a few years ago with some Goddess of Speed wheels making for one FUN freeride board. So I was thinking of popping the Gumballs on a C7 front, CX rear combo. This is the part where I start digging for risers, haha.
I'll report back once I get a chance to do a quick ride, but in the mean time, if any of you have any BIG warnings against what I'm doing (don't worry, I won't bombing hills with it), suggestions, or even things you want to try while I'm in gearhead mode, throw them this way!
