bushing tensionRight now I'm running washer rattling loose front and back. Loose bushings seem good for deep carves going up hill and to minimize stress on my overworked left / front big toe. Am I giving up energy return and top speed capability? How many turns + / - off neutral (washers held down with minimal tension) do you run?

snug seems better for speedthe flow of wide flatter carves seems more powerful and smooth with slightly snugged up (modest snap back to center) bushings. Rear grip seems a little worse when unweighted, because of the twist that wants to be unleashed. Hill performance still seems fine.

Today’s riding conditions were freaking perfect so I took advantage of it. I got a bunch of different color Khiros and just started going through a bunch of different configurations. I don’t know what it was but when I used JP configurations they felt good at first but then got too loose and squishy for me after 5 miles. I think maybe because I’m heavier. I spent some time going through different configurations. I even worked my way up to red. I thought I had it dialed at all orange but even that got too squishy for me after 15 miles. I finally nailed it with bottom orange and top blue. It was so good I even started passing bikers up. Man it was a good feeling – this one guy even said “How the hell are you passing me up on a skateboard?” As for the tightness it was a bit snug.
Anyways I just thought I would share the fruits of my labor. Honestly - it was cool to experiment I highly recommend it.

that looks interestingI'm no lightweight either so maybe I'll try the blue top also.
Yeah, that "what the hell is that" look when you pass the bike, rollerblader, etc. is really amusing Especially when they're going up hill.
