Bigzigshey im looking to put together a pumping setup and i want to get Bigzigs but i am wondering if the lime lemon combo would be better than a pink lime combo
the roads i would be riding on are rough-medium rough
all pretty old roads
thanks in advance for any help given

with rough/med-rough i'd consider pink-lime or even pink all around. i mainly run lime-lemon but only because my commute's smooth enough to handle it. some might think you sacrifice speed with the pinks but personally i feel more comfortable digging and pumping aggressively on the grippier wheels, and don't really notice overall commute time to suffer when on those. Of course, I haven't even really tried the "real" pink bigzigs, I'm still running the original pink gumballs, so the zigs should be a step UP, having a sharper lip.

yellow bizigsI'm running yellow bigzigs all around and they are definitely slower on rough roads. Comfort is just ok in the rough but coned 78a gumballs definitiely feel smoother.

yeah coned gumballs sounds nice kayakr---
i should add to previous comment that the ones that really worked for the very worst of conditions so far, were 72a or 73a Avilas in 75mm. (red or purple, if you get from purpleskunk) they're wide, kind of heavy, and cushy like crazy. but roll speed is still excellent. there were some long, multi-mile parts of chipseal road between seattle and portland where the Avilas seriously saved my feet. and they roll great for everyday riding as well. something else to consider when the conditions are rough!
