Bay Area TrailWell I don't have my LDP yet, but it should be here in a couple of weeks (I ordered a Galac).
I knew I had some local trails around here that were quite nice, but I didn't realize the extent of them. This is the biggest set of paths I've ever seen. I live in Los Altos of the South Bay Section. It's only a short ride for me to reach the Stevens Creek trial which is currently being extended even further. From the Stevens Creek trail I can access what is eventually going to be a continuous 500-mile network of trails.
Once I get my legs up to pumping standards, I'll start taking this thing a few miles at a time. I hope to do a distance ride at some point before I get out of highschool. I'm only a sophmore right now so I have plenty of time to train.
stoked,
Aaron

LinksThis is where the trial will begin for me:
Mountain View - Stevens Creek

Conveniently enough, my girlfriend's house is a few blocks away from this trail.
If I take this all the way to the end of the paved section, I'll end up at the mouth of this trail:
Shoreline at Mountain View Tour

There is much more trail to see after this, but I think I'll just try to conquer this for the first few months. I can't wait to get my board!

sweet looking trails aaron. and man, that's a lot of detail on that first link, dude has spent some time on that.
always looking for some ride options in that rare event I might trip southward. I wonder what the longest, continuous stretch of paved trail is right now? hope to see some shots of your own once you start eating that trail up!
