76mm HawgsHi guys
I was hoping for a lemon/lime BZ setup but these are kind of hard to find in my area at this time of year. I can likely get the 76mm hawgs in the new 'thane they are using, but I am wondering about them as my previous experiences with any Hawg wheel is that they are not all that speedy -- perhaps they have fixed this.
I could only find one post referring to the hawgs where is sounds like poster Stocago thinks they are a good option, but I am wondering if there are other comments? I am cruising on generally reasonable bike trails when I am on this board.
As a longtime skater but newby LDPer I need all the help I can get, so I don't want to be dragging slow wheels around

I tried out a pair of the new white Hawgs and have found them to be a good all-around wheel. Since I don't have a full set, it's hard to say if they're as fast as BZigs, but they're faster than the 76mm Superballs that were discontinued, but are now rumored to be making a comeback. The new Hawg formula has been described as fast for downhill. As far as LDP goes, they may be lacking just a tad in grip. I'd compare them to lemons, which are not bad by any means. I have oranges that are coned that grip better. I've never had limes, so I can't make a comparison there. Pinks grip better than the Hawgs. They have a very smooth drift, but drift a bit too frequently for me. I would compare them to Obombers, but because of their shape they grip better.
I weigh 150 pounds and skate on above average surfaces. Your results may vary.
