I’m interested in being in the May 3 2008 24-hour Ultraskate. I know this is last minute but I just found out about your awesome race for cancer. I live in Houston TX and I just put a flight on standby in hopes that I could workout the details with you all. What all do I need to do? And how likely could this race be canceled because of weather? I have only been longboarding about a month and up until about 3 weeks ago I didn’t even know that people did this. I’m an X runner that has found total freedom in my longboard. I keep skogging crazy miles out day after day thinking I wish there was a race for this, and then I found out about this race. I couldn’t be more stoked. I would be coming alone so any friendly connections would be greatly appreciated. I'm on a Dervish now but perhaps I should get setup with a new board when I get there on that Friday. (So I don't have to carry it on the plane) I'm more than happy to support you all and your businesses in anyway that I can. Again thank you for your time and info.

awesome! sent you a msg late last night, would be great to chat a bit on the logistics.

i just updated the event thread with the most recent (and less complicated) plans for the May 3rd event, and if this date is too soon / tentative due to the weather, June 14th will happen no matter what.
