which board, feels more like a lodaded deck? a Roe Mermaid or a Pulse 40?
I rode a dancer once and I could feel what a difference it made in terms of pumping ability and feel like it would make it a lot easier to pump. I'm currently riding this board here: http://www.daddiesboardshop.com/S...ne-longboard-skateboard-deck.aspx and it feels kinda dead compared to a loaded.

I've tried Pulse of two different flexes and Mermaids of two different flexes and various Loadeds.

In my opinion, the Mermaid flex is far closer to a Loaded than the Pulse.

The Pulse has a unique flex that is quite effective, but seems more subtle.

I like the Mermaid flex more.

But the Pulses have far superior craftsmanship. They are like custom handmade pieces of art. The Mermaid doesn't have wheel wheels, has less finish on the sides, and generally looks more hastily built. Every Mermaid looks about the same. Every Pulse looks unique and is beautiful.

There are probably other people who prefer the Pulse flex to that of the Mermaid, but I'm not one of them. I think the flex is what makes the Mermaid so special.

Does anyone know how does the Longboard Larry Walkabout compare flex-wise to the Pulse & Mermaid?
